I want to welcome all Cadets and Staff Cadets to NSCC Recruit Training at Fort Stewart, Ga. Dates will
be 7 July 2005 through 15 July 2005. Included in this package will be a map to Fort Stewart, Sea Bag list and what
not to bring, Staff cadets will bring same and no cell phones. Cadets will need to pass the 1 mile run in the time
allotted for your age or will have to repeat the training and could be sent home. Cadets will get to call home after
arriving unless a Parent brought you to Fort Stewart. If mail comes to you it should not be mailed after the 12th
of July from home.
UNIFORM
You are to wear your Dress Whites to Fort Stewart. Be sharp you are representing the US Navy,and the Sea Cadets.
Try not to arrive after 1500 hrs. Let me know if this will happen.
I would like to cover some issues so there will be no confusion. Please follow the Sea Bag list.
PLEASE ASK FIRST if you are not sure about something. Contact your Commanding Officer and he/she will contact me on what you
need answered.
Due to the nature of the training and the limited storage space, special attention should be given to the sea bag Requirements
list. Each Cadet Recruit MUST have the proper type and number of uniforms to be able to complete the training without additional
hardships.
In addition, care should be taken to ensure that each home unit Commanding Officer and each parent is made aware of what
is NOT allowed to be brought, to the Recruit Training evolution. The list that follows should be followed closely and modified
ONLY when it cannot be avoided. The list of items NOT ALLOWED will not be modified. Can bring spending money not over $50.00.
Cadets are responsible for the care of this money.
Graduation will be on the 15th of July at 1000 (10am)sharp Please plan to attend on this Day. And be earlyand seated.
Parent will receive an Invitation by mail mailed from Fort Stewart.
I will need a list of all Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Girlfriends and all that will come to Graduation. Please have this
put in Cadets service records when leaves for this Training.
Problems on the road and will be late call # above and leave message for LCDR Hill Sea Cadets, if you will be late arriving.

All Parents and /or Escorts need to stay until Cadets have been checked in. If cadet is not cleared for training you will
have to return for Cadet so please wait. Someone will show you where to wait.
